WA Web Multi Account Messenger
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything people ask about linking accounts, staying signed in, pricing, and what the app can and cannot see — in plain, direct answers.
Basics
Getting Started
What is WA Web Multi Account Messenger?
It runs up to 8 WhatsApp Web sessions side by side in one iPhone or iPad app, so a sales line, a support line, a second brand and your personal number all stay separate and all stay signed in. Switching between them takes one tap.
How do I link an account?
Tap Add Account, give it a name and a colour, then scan the QR code with the phone that holds that WhatsApp number — exactly as you would for WhatsApp Web in a browser. Repeat for every number you work from.
Do I need the phone nearby afterwards?
Only for the initial scan. After that the session runs independently, the same way WhatsApp Web does in a browser — though WhatsApp itself requires your phone to come online periodically.
Is this an official WhatsApp app?
No. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms. It loads WhatsApp Web the same way a browser does. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC.
Multi-Account
Accounts & Sessions
How many accounts can I add?
Up to 8, which is the number of distinct account colours available. The free plan covers 2; Premium opens the rest.
Will my sessions keep dropping?
No. Sessions are kept alive and restored in the background, so they last weeks rather than hours. If one does drop, the app detects it and attempts to reconnect on its own before asking you to re-scan.
Can the accounts see each other?
No. Each account runs in its own isolated session with its own storage, so nothing crosses between them — a client messaging your support line never touches your personal chats.
How do I tell the accounts apart?
Each one gets a name and a colour you choose when you add it — Sales, Support, the brand — shown in the switcher across the top of the screen.
How do I log an account out?
Open the toolbar and choose Log Out Account. It removes that account's saved session from your device; you will need to scan the QR code again to reconnect it.
What's Inside
Features
How do follow-up reminders work?
Flag any conversation, pick when you want to be reminded, and you get a notification at that time. The free plan covers 3 active reminders at once.
What are message templates?
Saved replies you can drop into a chat instead of retyping them. Twelve are built in, and you can add your own — 3 custom ones on the free plan.
Can I message a number I haven't saved?
Yes. Enter any number and start a conversation without adding it to your contacts. The free plan covers 3 of these a day.
What does the screenshot tool do?
It captures just the chat you are looking at, without the app's own toolbars in frame. You can crop it, draw on it, add text labels, and black out phone numbers or names before saving or sharing.
Is the blacked-out area really hidden?
Yes. The covered pixels are permanently removed from the image when it is saved — it is not an overlay someone could strip off later to reveal what was underneath.
What is the status vault?
Somewhere to keep photos and videos you have saved from WhatsApp statuses, protected by Face ID or Touch ID. The free plan holds 10 items.
Can I rearrange the toolbar?
Yes. Pull the bottom toolbar up to see each button's label, tap Reorder, and drag them into the order you actually work in. The order is remembered.
Access
Pricing & Access
What does the free plan include?
2 accounts, 3 follow-up reminders, 3 custom templates, 3 direct messages a day, 10 status saves and 5 screenshots a day — with no ads.
What does Premium add?
It opens up to 8 accounts, removes every one of those other limits, and adds app lock and all colour themes.
How much does Premium cost?
Monthly is $6.99, annual is $34.99 (a 58% saving), and a one-time lifetime purchase is $54.99. Prices shown are for the US store; your local price appears in the app before you buy.
Does the lifetime option renew?
No. It is a single payment with no renewal. The monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
Trust
Privacy & Safety
Can you read my messages?
No. We never read, store or transmit your messages. Your chats stay on your device — there is no account to create with us and no server of ours between you and WhatsApp.
Where are my login sessions stored?
Encrypted in the iOS Keychain on your device, the same place your passwords are kept. They are never sent anywhere.
Does the app show ads or track me?
No ads, free or paid, and no third-party tracking. Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat solely for purchase management.
Can I lock the app itself?
Yes. Premium lets you require Face ID or Touch ID to open the app at all, on top of the lock already protecting the status vault.
What information does the app collect?
Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app, and — only if you choose to send it — the feedback you type in Settings. Neither includes your chats, contacts or account details. The full policy is at zingybear.com/privacy/apps.
